Forces of Nature DLC Due March 27th

WOO!!! Finally another DLC releases for my #1 favorite game of all time – Gears of War 3. Forces of Nature will include new content in terms of multiplayer maps, including the return of the best map in Gears of War 2. That’s right baby, Jacinto map will be back and better than ever in this next DLC installment. Other maps include Aftermath, Artillery, Cove, and Raven Down. Β More pre-order skins will be part of the package deal as well. Anyone with the Season Pass or chooses to pay 800 Microsoft Points ($10)Β will gain 5 new weapon skins with 2 that are only available through this DLC. There’s going to be a few brand new achievements to unlock along with new Easter Eggs to discover. The Easter Eggs will be Elemental Cleavers hidden away in 4 of the maps. You will need to find all 4 if you hope to unlock one of the achievements. The Gears just keep turning! What are you guys waiting for? March 27th is go time baby!

Fortify Your 360 From the Reapers Invasion

Calibur11 has done it again, by bringing some sweet armor to your Xbox 360 using your favorite video game appeal. Now you guys do more than fending off Reapers in game, as you can fortify your Xbox 360 with Calibur11’s latest Mass Effect 3 Vault.

The Vault is designed after Commander Shepard’s N7 chest armor. The N7 logo is composed of two mode LED. You also get the controller cradle which can harness your headset if you already have a place to set aside your controller. As a bonus, anyone who purchases this will score a ‘Limited Edition DLC’ which grants in game items for Multiplayer. I really saw that in game item incentive coming. It seems as though anything you purchase for Mass Effect 3 comes with a code ( except buying their T-Shirts 😦 ). I actually do own one of these Vaults but it’s Gears of War 3. The Gears of War 3 Vault is really sweet and I LOVE how it pulsates to in game activities. It doesn’t react only to Gears of War 3, but even when I was playing Skyrim I noticed it pulsing to spells or when I was engaged in a fight. But anyways, what I’m trying to say is that these Vault cases for the 360 are neat and worth buying if you are a die hard fan of a certain video game franchise. The Battlefield 3 version looks awesome as well. This Mass Effect 3 Vault, I’m not sure what the designer was thinking. I’d rather see the Normandy instead or a rifle. I guess it’s OKAY. However, Gears of War 3 and Battelfield 3 are the ones I would recommend. Like I said, if you are crazy in love with Mass Effect 3, you should get one of these Vaults for your 360.

The Mass Effect 3 Vault will be available on March 1, 2012 and cost $90.

Mass Effect 3 Demo Incoming February 14

If you guys haven’t heard the great news yet, then now is the time to read about the latest updates regarding Mass Effect 3. Ever wanted voice commands for your squad? Consider your wish granted as this Kinect demo will go live soon. This Kinect demo was tested during CES 2012. The verdict – so far so good. The voice commands aren’t as horrifying as it may appear. In fact, it works quite well in your favor when you utilize your joystick and buttons along with specific abilities from the command list. It all equates to a fluid experience. Kinect will understand your commands after it recognizes your voice. That said, Kinect will also accommodate various accents including French, British, Australian, Italian and so forth.

AND the best part is this demo will be live for us to test on February 14. Who’s excited? I know I am πŸ™‚

By the way, Mass Effect 3 will require origin as it bypasses Steam once again. This isn’t a surprise based upon the trend of Dragon Age 2, Deus Ex, and Battlefiled 3.

CES 2012 Wrap-Up

It feels GREAT to be back in the Los Angeles area. Call me crazy if you want, but I felt like I missed all the traffic and horrible driving after a week long of staying in Las Vegas for the CES 2012 event. What I’m really trying to say is that it is lovely to be back home πŸ™‚ I did get a chance to take some pictures of the show which I will be sharing with you all. In advance, I apologize for the horrible quality of the pictures. They were taken on my HTC phone and I was too lazy to carry a real camera since I was limited on how much luggage and bags I could bring on the way to Vegas πŸ˜› Enjoy guys!

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Gearsmas

Did everyone have a wonderful Christmas? My Christmas for 2011 was filled with lots of Gears of War SWAG. For example, my tree was topped with the COG flag that was part of the Epic Edition for Gears of War 3. Aside from that, I would like to personally thank Mad Catz for the wonderful and AMAZING Tritton GOW3 Edition headset. It is truly a sexy beast that enhances gameplay with the 7.1 surround sound and excellent sound quality that ensures no sneaky bastard can cheap shot me from the back πŸ™‚ I can easily recommend this headset as worthy of purchasing and owning πŸ™‚ The pulsing omen glow effect is a killer feature for both the headset and Vault 360 case.

I would like to share with you guys my awesome Xbox 360 set-up and some of the awesome gifts I received this Holiday season. With that, I want to also say that I earned my wings last weekend and I will be hitting level cap in Skyrim this weekend. I’m currently lvl 48 so lvl 50 will be a piece of cake πŸ˜‰

Enjoy guys and Happy New Year to all!

Simply because the long awaited DLC’s have finally been released πŸ™‚ That’s right – RAAM’s Shadow and Back to Karkand are available to download and play. What exactly are you guys waiting for if you haven’t downloaded either DLC? Revisiting Emergence Day

We’re getting closer to the release date of the next Gears of War 3 DLC. RAAM’s Shadow will easily add 3 hours of gameplay to the action-packed campaign for you and your +1’s. We can now finally revisit the events of Emergence Day in this latest DLC. In addition to more gameplay hours, we will be able to revisit characters from the past. I know one thing is certain – I really missed being able to play as Lt. Kim and Tai. They were both my favorite characters to play in multi-player. I’m so glad they are back in the final series (even if it’s a short appearance) πŸ˜‰ Aside from reuniting with old friends, there will be 2 added COG members to play as: Alicia Valera and Michael Barrick (from the Gears comic). Did I also mention you can also play both sides? You can now see the POV of both sides – good and evil as you transition within the story between the COG and Locust opposing factions.Who’s ready to find out what exactly unraveled during E-day?

RAAM’s Shadow comes out on 12/13/11 priced at $15.00 (1200 Microsoft points).
